El día de ayer lunes 12 de diciembre de 2011 durante los WWE Slammy Awards, CM Punk se llevó el Slammy al “Superstar of the Year”, categoría en la cual también estaban nominados: Alberto del Río, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, The Miz y John Cena y fue presentada por el latino Rey Mysterio, quien regresaba a WWE.
